Taylor is a gorgeous 3 year old cream and black male fluffy Terrier / Pomeranian mix. His weight is 20lbs. Originally it was thought this sweet boy arrived to MDAS in Miami with just a leg laceration on his leg but when he arrived to JCHS and with some research. We found out this sweet boy was viciously attacked by a couple teenage boys. As you can see from the wounds...they range in size and they are all over his body on both sides. He is healing very good physically, but needs a very special person to help him through them psychological after effects from the attack. He is very much on edge and has to learn to trust again. Amazingly he does get along with other dogs now and is kenneled with dogs. He has to learn to trust humans again and with the right person giving him some TLC Taylor can become the loving sweet dog he once was before the torture. He is a little guy who prefers hanging out on the couch or snoozing on a comfy bed instead of hyperly running around the house. He has great potential and will become a loving devoted companion with time and we are pretty sure he is housebroken too! We do have the 3 week trial period, but because of this special situation, we are willing to extend this to help Taylor become the dog he once was. $70 adoption fee includes neutering, vaccinations, microchip, de-fleaing & de-worming and heartworm test. We offer a 3 week money back (less $10 + $5 if paid on web) or even trade on another pet (dog for dog / cat for cat). This transport is from a Miami Dade kill shelter and many of these dogs were taken off the main adoption room floor and could not be viewed by potential adopters.
